Product Description:

Derobin Ointment 30 gm combines three drugs: Dithranol, Salicylic acid, and Coal tar, which are used to treat psoriasis (scales and itchy, dry patches). Dithranol, also known as Anthralin, is an antipsoriatic drug that slows down skin cells' production by inhibiting DNA (genetic material) replication in these cells and stops their growth and multiplication.

Key Ingredients:

Salicylic Acid (1.15% w/w)
Coal Tar (5.3% w/w)
Dithranol (1.15% w/w)

Key Uses/Benefits:

It reduces the scaling and thickening of the skin and clears up psoriasis plaques.
Salicylic acid and Coal tar are keratolytic agents that break down a protein known as keratin (that forms part of skin structure), remove or peel off dead skin cells, and soften skin.
Coal tar possesses anti-inflammatory properties and helps in reducing itching and redness.
